Moving day for LP Union Church in SW Benton County... Just one of the buildings relocated during construction of Truman Dam.
This building still stands and served as the Benton County jail until 2021! Located at the corner of Washington & Van Buren in downtown Warsaw.
Many old photos of Benton County churches are displayed on one wall of the Museum. Some of these churches still stand today, looking much as they did 100+ years ago, while others - sadly - have closed. Some churches still stand but in an alternate location after being relocated when Truman Dam was built.
